Synology: Can I run docker
You heard about docker and now you want to know if your Synology is a docker compatible model.
What is docker?
Docker is a lightweight virtualization application that allows you to run thousands of containers created by developers from all over the world on DSM. The hugely popular built-in image repository, Docker Hub, will enable you to find shared applications from other talented developers.
The ability to run docker containers on your Synology depends on the model you have. Not every model of Synology is compatible with docker. I’ve included the list of Synology compatible docker models. This page will get updated on the release of new models.
